If you’re 50+ or have certain health issues (such as heart, lung, or kidney conditions), you’re more likely to get very sick from #COVID19. Get your updated vaccine to help restore your protection, which can weaken over time.
Spread the word! Updated #COVID19 vaccines are here for everyone 5 or older to help protect against Omicron. Get your updated vaccine if it’s been 2 months since your last dose and encourage the people you know to get one, too.
Our PTSA, as part of a national initiative through the HHS COVID-19 Public Education Campaign, has received a grant to increase public confidence in and encourage being up to date on COVID-19 vaccines. Over the following weeks we will share COVID vaccine resources and information from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). We will hold a community conversation and vaccine clinic in the Durham area to support our local communities. Thank you to the Durham Council of PTAs, the North Carolina PTA and the National PTA for this opportunity to help our local communities.
“Kindness has the power to change the world.” One small act of kindness can have a domino effect and can cascade through many people. What will be your small act of kindness today?
