Letter from the Principal

1st Annual SCS PTSA Color Battle Fundraiser is coming to The School for Creative Studies!

Monday, February 24th – Thursday, March 5th

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your support of The School for Creative Studies and the investments you make in your children’s lives.  We are so excited to introduce you to this semester’s fundraiser, the 1st annual School for Creative Studies Color Battle!
SCS PTSA, SCS Faculty and a group of student leaders at SCS have worked very hard to organize the Color Battle fundraiser and are pumped to be able to host this event from February 24th to March 5th.

We kick off our Color Battle fundraiser on Monday, February 24th with a fun-packed Pep Rally and each student will receive an Access Code Sheet to enter and track donations online.  Students are challenged to get donations from family and friends to help our school.  Funds raised this year will be used for Campus Beautification, Marquee for School Communications and more…

We’ll end the fundraiser with a celebratory Color Battle event during elective time on Thursday, March 5th for students who participate in the fundraiser (think lots of color powder, relay type games, participant t-shirts, loud music, high energy, and FUN!).  Students participating in the Color Battle Event will need to bring a change of clothes on the day, sunglasses will also be beneficial!

Students will also earn prizes for every $30 in donations received, including a Color Battle t-shirt, color packets to use at the event, a Mini Bluetooth Speaker, a Ready Pack with headlamp (hydration backpack), a Gigaball set, an Electric Scooter and the chance to win their choice of their very own Chromebook, Beats Solo 3, Apple Watch, $150.00 Gift Card, or iPad MiniIn addition, we’ll be announcing fun daily challenges with prizes for the class / students that raise the most each day.

You can help make our Color Battle fundraiser successful by connecting your student to potential donors (family/friends) to acquire donations. The easiest way is to use the “Share Wizard” feature on your child’s donation page at Anython.com. Using the Share Wizard, you can send a link to your child’s donation page via text message, email, Facebook and Twitter.

Thank you again for your continued support!

Sincerely,

Ms. Price, Principal
