SCS T-Shirt Design Contests!!

Show everyone your art and design skills!

We are having two contests!

One for the entire school AND one just for the seniors!

Please read the information below for contest details.

Details for the entire school:
  • The contest will run from Monday, July 23, 2018 – Friday, August 3, 2018 (2 weeks)
  • The design can be created on an 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet of paper
  • You can create more than one design for entry into the contest
  • Please turn your designs into Dr. Rathbone (with your name on the back of the paper).
  • The SCS maze must be incorporated in the design if you do not use our school name in your design
  • No Profanity
  • No Nudity
  • No copyrighted images
  • There are no color limits in the design
  • You can use any media (marker, paint, imaging software, etc) you choose for your design
  • Students will vote to determine the winning submissions the week of August 6th

Details for the senior submissions:

The winners will receive a FREE t-shirt with their winning design on the front!

Testing Protors Needed

PTSA MEMBERS and OTHER PARENTS WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
The testing period for SCS is May 24 – May 31, 2018 (excluding the Memorial Day Monday holiday).  On each of these days no less than (40) Volunteers are needed to provide adequate assistance with testing.  The times of day when coverage is needed is 8:30 am – 12:00 noon and 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm. The greatest need is for morning sessions.

3rd Annual Gryphon Give-Back (A Yearly SCS PTSA Fundraising Event)

SCS Families,

2018 is off to a great start.  The students and SCS Staff are working hard to make this year a success.  As parents and/or extended family of these amazing young people and in support of the dedicated SCS Staff – it’s our turn to “GIVE BACK”!

SCS is very fortunate to have MANY active classes and school clubs and these groups have fundraising projects during the year to support their numerous activities. Out of respect, we will strive not to compete with these groups with our fundraising activities. 

Fundraising can be a challenge when your student is asked to sell products that require time consuming forms, solicitation, pick up and delivery.  SCS has chosen not to burden busy families with complicated fundraising campaigns.

We are, instead, asking for a one-time donation to the SCS PTSA.  Funds collected will exclusively support important SCS missions, such as: The PBIS Program, Student Events, College Week, Classroom Supplies, Staff Hospitality, The PTSA SCS Scholarship Fund and other SCS Activities.  Suggested donation amount is $10.00.

How does this work?  With a one time, tax deductable donation to the SCS PTSA, in ANY amount!  Cash or checks are welcome.  You can also donate online at https://squareup.com/store/scs-ptsa. Here is a link to the printable form if you choose send it in through your child’s homeroom.
